Convert PDF with Vector Graphics to Transparent PDF

Jan 15 at 12:58 PM
I have a PDF file which contains a vector graphics logo on a transparent background (if you open it in Photoshop CC 2017, you see the transparent area displayed correctly).

I want to convert that PDF to a transparent PNG. But the PNG which is created has a white (instead of transparent) background.

I have no problem converting one transparent PNG to another PNG, so I assume my problem is how I am reading the PDF.

What should I do?

TIA,
Lavie

Would it be possible to share your PDF file? And which version of Ghostscript are you using?

Feel free to contact me through CodePlex if you don't want to share the image publicly.
