Hi Dirk, I noticed there is another library based on ImageMagick called GraphicsMagick

On the homepage, it gives many reason to choose GraphicsMagick over ImageMagick.

On further research, I noticed you are the author of both these library. Is there any reason to maintain two different libraries doing the same thing? And should we prefer one library over another? Which one would you recommend?

Thank you.

It are not two libraries doing the same thing. ImageMagick has more features than GraphicsMagick. I am also maintaining the GraphicsMagick.NET library but it's always a couple steps behind Magick.NET. The latter now works on .NET Core because I did a huge rewrite. I haven't done this yet in GraphicsMagick.NET and I don't know when I will do that. And my recommendation is pretty biased since I am also a developer for the ImageMagick project. I would recommend you to use Magick.NET because the ImageMagick library is being worked on more.
